Welcome to the world of the finest certified rotors.
The famous Aircopter rotor now became “Aircopter – C.A.” (CELIER Aviation product.) as we bought the rights and tools.
Sir Jean-Pierre DOLEAC from Toulouse is the original designer and producer of this rotor, helped by Sir Pierre CHAUVIN (former Director of AEROSPATIALE Division) their collaboration made it possible to produce this amazing fine rotor.
For the respect of the original recognized quality, we will keep the French metal extrusion producer, a Toulouse Group Aerospatial certified subcontracter.
It is the only one known extruder to have the proper mastering of extrusion for a profile like a blade, far more complex than simple tubes or other framing ones. A very complex process is involed, followed by a serie of control protocoles. The anodization is IN and OUT, through a special process, allowing anti-corrosion and shock detection. A plus for the safety and ease of pre-flight inspection.
The full process, in details, is respected, only improved. We can then guaranty the highest finest quality.
We add our industrial capacity, to have an even more perfect repeatability. Our rotors are going under certification, they have already passed full stress analysis and physical breaking tests and wind tunel tests.
We have now all specific toolings to make perfectly balanced, for the CG, General balance, dynamic centrifugation.
We are able to provide diameters from 7m (23ft) up to 9m (29,5 ft)with increments of 20 cm.
2 sizes of hub bars are available, with NO preset conical angle (too much conical angle as seen on the copies is dangerous in cross-wind and turbulence), in flight our particular hub bar design, get its slight conicity by natural flexion at 2,5 degrees.
This correct angle provides the proven forgiving behaving of our rotor.
Blades are bolted through 5 bolts dia. 8 (not 9 close bolts to each other seen on the copies, making dangerous pre-braking points)
Blade profile is 8H12, one of the most autostable while giving lots of lift.
Blades are set at 2 degre pitch.
Blades are installed in the hub bar through a unique designed “pocket”, fitting perfectly, the alignement and pitch.
The alignment is obtained very simply by 2 tip blade notches to be on line through the hub bar central hole.
Our rotors, are easy to set up, with no possibilty for de-regulation.
We can provide our rotors not only for our after market, but also for the amateur gyro builders as well as other gyro manufacturers willing to have a safe and the finest available rotor.
Must not be compared with the poor copies found in France, Germany and Spain, this rotor will ensure you full safety. Do not fly cheap copies, fly the original !
